This is the Hallenbad, the big and nice Luzern swimming pool. The luxuous temple of swim. The locker rooms labyrinth.

You arrive.
The front parking. Mont Pilatus in the clouds.

The entrance. Where your wallet gets lighter.

You get a card with a hole in the middle.

There's a Migros on the left. Practical for when you getting out.

Though there's no giant killed rabbit around, there's a portal you need to go through. Then you're inside the pool (no shrinkage though).

Here I was passing my card in the machine.
Please note the specific quantic aspect of this picture. Where both states of my presence here manifest at the same time: I was outside and inside the swimming pool at the same time.

Hairdryers on fire.
Long, white, cold corridors.
If you're a man, you go right, right, right, then left.
If you're a woman, you go right, right, right, then right.

You can get a hanger, then you go in your changing room (individual).

Surprisingly - comparing to the magnificence of the premises, the locking system of the changing room is not very sophisticated. But effective.

Once you're done, you put your clothes and stuff in the locker.

You're facing a choice to lock the locker: put 2 francs, or your subscription card. Efficient.

You get a key bracelet. This thing is not the most easiest to put on, to say the least. But anyway, it's not like you have the choice. You can put it on your wrist, or your ankle.

Walking to the shower. Long, white, cold corridors.
You go right, right, right, then left. Door on the left.

In the shower. Water comes cold or hot. I suggest a mix of both. You push the button…

.. and water falls all over you. Pressure is powerful, as swiss german language in your ears.

You go right, then right.
You then have to walk through a giant, long, white, cold corridor and stairs. Coming from the shower, all wet, it is very cold. Don't stay there too long.

After climbing the stairs, you have a hot and bubbly pool on your left. This is lazyness temptation. But you have to strengthen yourself and walk by…

… to the Graal. The pool. Finally.

You can put your towel in a box.

A plant.

Another temptation.

A closer look. I like the edge of the pool, at water level.

You choose your lane, depending on your speed.
Then… well, you're supposed to swim. Count to three and jump.
